It has been measured to have a size with indicated diameter and a mass. Mass the the basic property of any particle. The mass of the proton is a lot higher than the mass of the electron so the mass of any matter is mostly contributed by the protons and neutrons relative to electrons.

Electron viewed as charge. Electron is the only particle that carries a negative charge which is proven to repell the similar charge, thus another electron. It thus creates an electric field onto any external charge. The field direction is into or out from the electron depending on the external charge is negative or positive. Thus a singular atom with a proton and a electron like hydrogen when brough close to this electron, the proton will be attracted into and the electron will be repelled out from this electron. That means the external atom is under a contraint or force trying to separate the hydrogen atom.

Electron is a magnetic dipole.
The electron has been found to behave like a magnetic dipole and this is why so material can be magnetized. The relationship between magnetic field and electric field is well understood that moving electron will create magnetic field is long being proven. This magnetic dipole accounts for the spinning of the electron and therefore the electron is thought of having a spin that is measured to be angular momentum which is shown in the following diagram:
