馬拉糕 steamed chinese cake

Ingredients:

4oz flour, 4oz brown sugar, 3 eggs, 1oz butter, 1oz lard, 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder, 2 tablespoons water.

Method:

  1. Line and grease cake tin.
  2. Sieve flour into a bowl, add in brown sugar and beaten egg.
  3. Melt butter and lard, then pour melted fat into flour mixture.
  4. Dissolve baking powder in water, stir into mixture until well mixed. Pour into the prepared tin.
  5. Steam over a high heat for 30 minutes.
